Ad Visual Concept: Klein Bicycles

Project Objectives:
Create a visual mock-up of a magazine advertisement for the Klein bicycle company.  The ad doesn’t have to be of a finished quality, just show your concept.

Design Rationale:
For this ad I chose to use a dramatic visual and poetic body copy to try and reach the bicycle enthusiasts emotional side.  Those who have a passion for biking will relate to the image and body copy and those who aren’t familiar with bicycling will hopefully be drawn in by the image.  This layout is designed for a full spread in a magazine, preferably an inside cover.  Due to the fact that this is only a mock-up the image I used is very low resolution.  A final version of the ad would contain a sharp version of the photograph.
