CLIENT: MJ Manufacturing, Inc.
PROJECT: Company Website
After designing a new company logo and brochure the next stage was to build a website. Much like the brochure, the website was setup using a grid to have a mechanical look. The site utilizes a top navigation with an image banner and content beneath. The color scheme throughout the site was based on the new logo. Red horizontal bars were used to divide up the site. These bars were borrowed from the old logo.
The content pages use a narrower image banner to allow the content to be further into the screen on lower resolution monitors. These image banners contain closely cropped photos of various machines and tools from the shop. I felt these banners take sharp mechanical objects and give them a softer artistic appearance. The individual image galleries throughout the site open into a new browser window so that the page size can be controlled and still provide the user access to the rest of the site. |
