EVENT: SCCA June Sprints The SCCA June Sprints were held on June 22-25 at Road America. This race is one of the SCCA's triple crown for club racers and always draws full grids in each class. The Sprints doesn't have the glamour of ALMS or the historical cars like BRIC, but what it does have is probably the most passionate racers and it is my favorite event to watch. Club racers go racing because they love it, plain and simple. They aren't there for money, fame, or to help a manufacturer sell cars...they are there because it is in their blood. It is my hope that someday I'll be on the other side of the barriers, inside one of those cars competing for a June Sprints trophy.
