CLIENT: Two Cycle Technology This ad for Two Cycle Technology was the first print ad I’ve ever done. TCT is a kart shop that specializes in building two-cycle karting engines. Following their successful 2005 season they wanted to do an ad for the local karting club newsletter highlighting these results. The obvious theme of this ad is winning. I created a warning label graphic with the headline of “TCT may cause frequent lifting of heavy trophies.” By blurring the backgrounds of the photos together it helped to unify the piece and avoid a cookie cutter feeling. The required black and white format actually assisted in this process. The angled logo and shape at the bottom are intended to give the page a more dynamic appearance. |
